Presenting Companies: V-Target Technologies Ltd.

Core Business / Technology

V-Target is a medical devices company that has developed a revolutionary nuclear medical imaging technology providing high resolution reconstructions with sensitivity over an order of magnitude higher than currently found. Use of V-Target’s unique imaging capability can significantly improve diagnostic testing and surgical guidance for a wide variety of indications. The company’s first products are a trans rectal miniature functional camera for early detection of prostate cancer and a very high speed cardiac functional camera.

Main Markets / Applications

V-Target developed a revolutionary nuclear medical imaging technology that provides images with extremely high resolutions and sensitivities. Based on its unique BroadViewTM imaging platform, V-Target’s technology generates images enabling detection of abnormalities as small as a few millimeters in size, with efficiency an order of magnitude higher than that of conventional Gamma/SPECT cameras, in use today. This new, game changing imaging capability, can significantly improve diagnostic testing, surgical guidance and treatment monitoring for a wide variety of indications. /P>

Main Products Marketed or Under Development

V-Target’s products, currently under development, includes a small-clinic size, cardiac perfusion study camera, that will shorten procedure time from 15-20 minutes down to 3 minutes at increased patient comfort and lower radiation exposure. The same technology will be used in the future to develop a high speed, functional camera as an add-on to an existing CT unit.

Uniqueness / Advantage over Existing Products

The BroadViewTM imaging platform, together with tumor specific monoclonal antibodies, is also used in the development of a trans-rectal nuclear molecular imaging solution to be used in applications such as functional imaging of the prostate gland for biopsy guidance and early detection of prostate cancer, the number one cancer killer in men
