Presenting Companies: Tagra Biotechnologies Ltd.

Core Business / Technology

Manufacturers of skin care products and dermal applications have long been searching for a solution to stabilize the known-to-be functional ingredients such as vitamins, oils and natural extracts. Tagra has developed a series of new and innovative technologies, providing solutions that enable delivery and controlled release of these specific active ingredients and complexes that cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufactures seek. Tagra’s patented technology better enables them to transform the desired active ingredients to stable and efficacious with a long shelf life.

Main Products Marketed or Under Development

Tagra’s technology is based on a 2 pillar technology:

Microencapuslation of active and functional ingredients.

Tagra’s novel technology is based on a solvent removal system that has been uniquely upgraded by Tagra for the use of non-chlorinated solvents for cosmetic and dermal pharmaceutical applications.

Tagra’s technology also allows for the microencapsulation of non-water soluble ingredients and provides solutions for stabilization of actives which allows for the following: a prolonged shelf life and increased efficacy of the actives; masking of original odor; masking of original color; overcoming dispersibility issues; optimal release only upon application to the skin; and incorporation of non-stabilized functional ingredients for oral hygiene.

Tagra has also developed a unique and patented multi-layer microencapuslation system for the improved protection and combination of actives in one system.

Tagra has developed a series of stable Vitamin C derivatives for dermal application substances improving the stability for Vitamin C in water containing formulations, highly suitable for both cosmeceutical as well as pharmaceutical applications.
